After months of saving up, I was thrilled when I walked out of the coin dealer. I was finally able to save my money from inflation and I was planning to keep doing that. It wasn't a huge investment, barely half a gram of gold costing me 400,000 Tomans. As it happens, the same day I got an email including a bill of exactly 400,000. Now I have to cut off my other expenses, meaning my longly planned and awaited birthday / Yalda party is ruined.
Honestly, I have been sad and disappointed over my financial status many times, but this time I'm truly heartbroken. So much that I can't even cry.
After 1/4 of a century living, I can't even make ends meet. Thankfully I have a supportive dad, but the fact that I'm not independent, that I can't support myself drives me crazy.
How many times do I have to ask for cash? How many?
